About Newcastle University
The prostate research group was established in 2002 by Professor
Neal and Dr Craig Robson. In 1996 we were joined by Hing
Leung (now Professor
of Urological Oncology). The major themes have included androgen receptor
co-factors and FGF8. More recently translational studies of these aspects
coupled with a collaboration with Professor
DR Newell have led to an
interest in new drug development.
